Nukanti Foundation for Children (NFC) is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing hope and healing to marginalized children affected by extreme violence.
Volunteers are an important part of our operations! Many of our programs wouldn’t be possible without the time and work of our volunteers. Risaralda and Caldas, Colombia
Volunteer short term or long term on a rolling bases in the beautiful coffee region of Colombia. We have various projects throughout the departments of Risaralda and Caldas and can work with you depending on your area of interest and expertise.
We are looking for proactive project managers or workshop leaders to design and implement various projects in Medellin specifically, English programs, dance classes, photography/film workshops, and theater productions.
In order for us to cover our cost of hosting volunteers, we ask that each volunteer pay $400 per month, which covers accommodation with a host family, breakfast, internal transportation, and airport/bus terminal pick up in Pereira. However, there is no fee if you choose to find your own accommodation and cover your own expenses. If this is the case, please

Your participation with Nukanti Foundation for Children will help bring a change in the lives of many children in Colombia. Through partnerships with local projects, we work to fight against the violation of children’s rights. All donations go directly to the projects for children and to cover organizational costs we absorb for the placement, accomodation, food, and local transportation of the volunteers.
